Hike #16

This hike was more of a "Pa and Mama want to collect rocks" adventure than hike but we did walk a bunch and explore a bunch of new places so while maybe not as adrenaline charged as other hikes it was definitely hike worthy.  We couldn't have picked a better day either.  Gorgeous clear skies for miles!

One of those weird blue things that have been washing up everywhere

Hiking the bluffs we saw gorgeous wildflowers!  So many things in bloom!

We went right at low tide and I was looking for one of these guys!  I can't remember what they are called but my dad and I looked it up when we got back last time because we were so curious.

We had this whole beach to ourself for awhile.  So peaceful!!

Pa and I are such nerds that this kind of day is our favorite.  We appreciated the beauty, explored, picked up rocks and took a bunch of pictures.  The kind of day our dreams are made of!

On the way home we busted out the selfie stick for a selfie with Pigeon Point.  I always feel it after these days.  We climb a lot of cliffs and are bending down to pick up rocks and walk quite a bit too.  It was no 5 miler but we got a few miles in and a lot of r&r.  A success in my book!!
